India Conference

In recent years the Lord has led Lamb & Lion Ministries into an increasingly heavy involvement in foreign missions: Africa, China, India, Israel, Mexico, Russia and Eastern Europe, Pakistan and the Philippines.

The Ministry has always had an interest in reaching people in other countries. During the '80s two missions trips were made to South Africa, and the message of the Lord's soon return was preached all over the country. Also in the 80's the Ministry collected and distributed thousands of Bibles, both new and used. Another aspect of foreign outreach in the '80s was short wave radio. A special version of the Ministry's radio program, "Christ in Prophecy," was broadcast throughout Europe, Russia, and Africa.

The Turning Point

But it was not until 1990 that foreign mission work became a major aspect of the Ministry's outreach. Two things happened that year that made it very clear the Lord wanted the Ministry to put more emphasis on missions.

The first event was the opening of the door in Russia for the Jews to return to Israel. In the summer of 1990 Dr. Reagan visited Israel and witnessed the refugees arriving by the thousands at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. At that time they were arriving at the rate of 2,000 per day, and they were allowed to bring only two suitcases each. They could not bring money or jewelry. In short, they were arriving in Israel penniless.

Dr. Reagan was deeply moved by what he saw. When he returned to the States, he told the staff of the Ministry that he felt like the Lord was leading him to try to raise funds to help provide relief to the refugees. The appeal was made over the Ministry's radio program. God anointed it, and the money began to pour in. Before the year was concluded, the Ministry had raised almost $100,000 for the Jewish refugees!

The second crucial event of 1990 was a telephone call from a man of God in Toronto. Canada. His name was George Bajenski. He was a native of Poland, and he had a ministry in Toronto that was designed to raise funds to help the churches of Poland. While traveling across the United States visiting churches, he was given a set of tapes containing a series of sermons that Dr. Reagan had preached on prophecy in a recent meeting. He listened to the tapes as he drove home, and he decided to call the Ministry and ask Dr. Reagan to come to Poland to preach the message of the soon coming of Jesus.

The result of these two events is that Lamb & Lion Ministry is heavily committed to foreign missions today. Since 1995 the ministry used almost 15% (over $100,000) of its total income for outreach to people in foreign countries. This outreach has taken many forms: relief to Jewish refugees in Israel; fund raising for an orphanage in Juarez, Mexico; the publishing and distribution of the Ministry's books in foreign languages; financial assistance to missionaries; and the provision of prophetic conferences and seminars.

In 2009 we will be providing support to 7 domestic ministries and 12 foreign ones. An overview of some of the foreign missions we are helping is presented below.

Africa

Pastor Abraham Louw — Located in Kimberley, South Africa

Mercy Ships — Becky Bynum from Lindale, Texas

China

Evangelist Paul Liu — Located in Mainland China

India

Dennis Pollock prays for people in Bangalore, India

Revival Literature Fellowship — In 2001 Dennis Pollock conducted Bible prophecy conferences for pastors in the Bangalore area of south central India. The sponsoring organization was Revival Literature Fellowship which is headed up by John Ishmael. Lamb & Lion has since become a regular financial supporter of this outstanding ministry that focuses primarily on publishing Christian materials in the various major languages of India. Many of Dr. Reagan's articles and some of his books have been published by this ministry in several different languages. Visit site!

Israel

Avi Mizrachi

Dugit in Tel Aviv — The word, dugit, means "little fishing boat" in Hebrew. This ministry, located in central Tel Aviv, just half a block off Diezengoff Street, fishes for the souls of lost Jews. The ministry is headed up by a dynamic and innovative young man named Avi Mizrachi. He is a native of Israel and is a Messianic Jew. The site of the ministry contains a Messianic bookstore and coffee house. Avi specializes in street ministry, primarily through music and skits. Once he gets peoples' attention, he invites them to the coffee house for refreshments and conversation about the Messiah. Dugit also serves as the meeting place for several Messianic congregations, including a Russian speaking group. Visit site!

Bridges for Peace in Jerusalem — This ministry is headed up by Clarence Wagner, Jr., who is an articulate spokesman for Israel. The ministry strives to counter the distortions of the anti-Israel world press by providing the truth with regard to what is going on in Israel, especially Israel's relations with the Palestinians. The major thrust of the ministry's outreach is providing aid to Jewish refugees. This assistance takes the form of clothing, food, kitchen utensils, blankets, and school supplies. All of it is supplied in the name of Yeshua. The ministry has the only food bank in the entire country, complete with separate freezers for dairy and non-dairy products (in order to conform with Kosher laws). Visit site!

Christian Friends of Israel — This ministry is very similar to Bridges for Peace in its overall purposes. It runs a large refugee assistance center in Jerusalem. It is directed by Ray and Sharon Sanders. Visit site!

Mexico

Mexican Orphans

Hands of Luke — This is a remarkable ministry which Dr. Reagan helped to establish. It is located in central Jaurez, the Mexican city located just across the border from El Paso. The director of the ministry is Dr. Marco Samaniego, a medical doctor. He is a man with a great heart of compassion for the poor, the suffering, and the spiritually lost. He runs a medical clinic that offers complete medical services, from dental work to surgery. The services are offered on a free or pay-as-you-can basis. All patients receive spiritual counseling. At the same location, Dr. Marco runs an orphanage that houses about 40 orphans who have literally been picked up off the streets of Juarez. Dr. Reagan continues to serve on the board of this ministry.

Russia and Eastern Europe

Polish pastor and George Bajenski

Global Missionary Outreach — This is the ministry of George Bajenski, a native of Poland. The ministry is located in Toronto, Canada. For many years the major outreach of the ministry was twofold: raising funds for Polish churches, and broadcasting the Gospel into Poland via short wave radio. Since the fall of Communism, the short wave broadcasts have been discontinued in favor of broadcasts over local stations in Poland. The fund raising has continued. But the scope of the ministry has broadened as it has reached out to areas beyond Poland. Working closely with this ministry, Dr. Reagan has conducted prophecy seminars throughout Poland and in Beloruss and Moscow. In September of this year, Dr. Reagan will be working with Mr. Bajenski to conduct prophecy conferences in the Ukraine. Mr. Bajenski has also been instrumental in getting Dr. Reagan's books translated and published into several languages. Mr. Bajenski is highly fluent in a number of languages, and he therefore serves as Dr. Reagan's interpreter when he preaches and teaches.

Christian Life Church in Moscow — During Dr. Reagan's first trip to Russia with George Bajenski, they met a dynamic young Christian in Moscow named Vasily Lastochkin. Vasily has since become the pastor of a large church in Moscow. The church has an outreach all over Russia. They send printed materials — both Bibles and Christian books — to a network of 200 churches that stretches from one end of Russia to the other. Vasily is a master interpreter of English into Russian, and he has become Dr. Reagan's primary Russian interpreter. His church has been instrumental in getting Dr. Reagan's prophecy books translated into Russian and distributed all over the country. The Master Plan, Dr. Reagan's basic book on Bible prophecy, has just gone through its second Russian printing.

Christ's Church Fellowship — This is a network of about 20 churches located in the St. Petersburg area of Russia. The churches were established through the pioneering efforts of an American missionary, Rick Ives, and his wife, Heather. They have sponsored a prophecy conference conducted by Dr. Reagan, and they have helped in the distribution of his books in Russian.

Pastor Kazik Barchuck — Poland

Evangelist Bret Howard — Austria

Pakistan

Christian Life Ministries — Nazir Gill in Faisalabad, Pakistan

Philippines

Pastor Remegio Blanco and wife

Harvesters Christian Mission — In November of 2000 Lamb & Lion Ministries conducted a Bible prophecy conference in the Philippines under the sponsorship of Harvesters Christian Mission. This mission is headed up by Pastor Remegio Blanco and is located in Pangasinan province, about 100 miles north of Manila. Pastor Blanco has a heart for the lost, and he conducts outdoor evangelistic crusades throughout the province. Since that time, Lamb & Lion has become a regular monthly financial supporter of his ministry. In 2001 Lamb & Lion's supporters provided over $10,000 to construct a concrete block home for the pastor and his wife. Up to that time they had been living in a bamboo hut.
